Geological Reservations :
The Piatra Tibaului Geological Reservation (Dorna) is situated at the confluence of the stream Tibau with Bistrita Aurie, on the territory of the commune Carlibaba and represents an interesting massif of fossilised limestone, 70 m high. This impressive cliff is attractive through its massivity and represents the eastern termination of the Carpathian flysch.
The surface of the reservation is about 20,30 ha.
The Piatra Pinului and Piatra Soimului Geological Reservation (Campulung)
The geological reservation Piatra Pinului represents an extremely important ecosystem from a paleontologically viewpoint, containing numerous rests of fossilised fish which prove the existence of a specific fauna : fish, corals, shells, etc. We cannot but mention as unique of its kind the fact that the sub-shrub species – the black bilberry – here grows at its lowest altitude in Bucovina (600 m ).
Piatra Soimului (The Hawk's Stone), situated a few hundred metres upstream from Piatra Pinului, is visited for the picturesque of the cliffs in the forest.
The surface of the reservation is about 0,50 ha.
The Cheia Lucavei Rezervatia (Campulung)
It is situated at the mouth of the stream Lucava, next to the Hayfields in Lucina, on the territory of the commune of Moldova - Sulita. Particularly impressive is the beauty of the limestone cliffs which shelter the two monuments of nature : the bear's grape and the edelweiss. In addition to that, there's also the stream with sulphur drinking water – stream which runs near the road.
The surface of the reservation is about 24,30 ha.
The Resevation Moment of triassic limestone Paraul Cailor (Campulung)
The triassic moments are geological formations very old and important through the different fish species, shells and ammonites of sea origin engraved in the cliffs that bear testimony of techtonic movements and of the life in the warm oceans of yore.
The Clipa (Moment) Reservation Clipa lies within the commune of Fundu Moldovei. The surface of the reservation is of about 0,10 ha.
The Cheia Moara Dracului Reservation (The Devil's Mill) (Campulung)
Situated on the superior course of the Valea Caselor stream, right tributary stream of the Moldova river, the reservation is 7 km away from the Campulung Moldovenesc- East station, on the northern slope of the Rarau massif. The surface of the reservation is of around 1,30 ha.
